Windows or Mac warns about the app when installing

The first time, Windows or macOS may warn about a new app. It is safe to allow it.

   Windows ("Windows protected your PC"): click More info, then Run anyway.

   Mac ("can't be verified"): click Done, open System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down and click Open Anyway.
